New shock of millions against the devastating economic effects of the coronavirus in the United States The Senate has just approved a new $480 billion (‘441.894 million) stimulus plan to help small businesses and hospitals cope with the pandemic.
And if everything goes according to plan, the 25-page text will receive the backing of the House of Representatives tomorrow before going to the president, Donald Trump, for ratification, according to CNN.
The stimulus plan has been approved by the Senate after the Democratic-majority House of Representatives and the Trump Administration reached an agreement.
Senate Republican majority leader Mitch McConnell announced that the parties had reached a deal just one hour before the Senate put the plan to a vote, as reported by the newspaper Politico.
However, he criticized the Democrats for blocking several previous proposals that sought to allocate money to small and medium businesses, in addition to the testing of Covid-19.
